Latoya Crabbe, 34, is facing charges after her husband, Curtis Crabbe, was found dead in their Manassas home after suffering a gunshot wound.
According to the Manassas City Police Department, at around 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 21, officers were called to the family's home in the 9200 block of Brinkley Lane, where they found Curtis Crabbe suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say that Latoya Crabbe was identified as the alleged shooter and was detained at the scene by responding officers.
It was later determined that the incident was domestic in nature between two people who lived at the Manassas home.
Latoya Crabbe was taken into custody without incident and charged with second-degree murder and use or display of a firearm in the commission of a felony at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center.
Officials made note that no other parties were involved, and it was entirely contained to their residence.
It remains under investigation.
